Our most popular student instrument, the violin that started it all for our shop, and the absolute best instrument under $500 for any new player! These are the violins our own beginner students play in lessons with us and what owner Rhiannon Nachbaur recommends for beginners of all ages.
The tone is wam, clear and strong, but not brassy or bright, and will only improve as they are played. Easily comperable to upwards of $800 factory made outfts by Eastman, Knilling and Yamaha. *Note some sellers call the VN-100 the "Young Maestro."
Mildly flamed woods and oil varnish. Ebony fittings, Wittner-style tailpiece (indluding all four fine tuners). New, North American setup and and ready to play out of the box.
Your choice of strings, Corelli Crystal (nylon core, made in France) OR Thomastik Dominant (perlon core, made in Austria) coupled with a Canadian quality setup allow for optimum tone and ease of play. Read the difference between these strings here.
