Is it safe to ship violins during cold winter or hot summer weather?

three stickers saying protect from heat, fragile and do not freeze

My violin arrived safely. I felt like I was unwrapping an ancient mummy from Egypt! Wow! What a packing job!! Rhiannon should teach lessons in proper packaging of stringed instruments!

You can rest assured your baby will be fine in transit.

I've shipped thousands of violins, violas, bows and other items since the early 2000s and not a single item has been damaged due to the elements.

I use a ridiculous (haha) amount of strategically-placed padding, cushioned layers and labels such as the ones pictured above to ensure your instrument arrives in the best possible condition.

Many customers acclaim how their violin arrived still in perfect tune, even during the extremes of winter or summer!

That said, if you are deeply concerned about your parcel showing up when you aren't home, might I suggest you use your local post office's address for delivery.

You can also request the addition of signature confirmation for your parcel so it won't be left on your porch in the elements.
