The violin looks and sounds wonderfully. Probably you already know that from having enjoyed playing it a bit already.

We have wanted to conserve your efforts, which is why we've told you what we know, and don't, and we very much appreciate the "copious," helpful information you have been sending us and the time and effort you have expended to help us as ongoing customers.

Mr. Dimitrov does seem to be dedicated to his craft and also a nice person, plus his relationship with you is important; he had written us that you have been his dealer in Canada for 10 years and that he knows you well from that standpoint.

The certificate appears very thorough and professional, and it fits with it being a bench made instrument related to the personal attention of Mr. Dimitrov in its inception.

I'm needed some new violins at the school. As Rhiannon predicted, the first set of cheap violins we bought elsewhere are not a high enough quality for our grade 2 students whose playing level is much higher than last year!

We have quite a few of Fiddleheads' Sun models in larger sizes and I got some more at the 1/4, 1/8, and one 1/16 (for our tiniest kindergarten student). Excellent.

Aurora loves her new violin! Her teacher was impressed by it also, she snagged a few of the business cards you put in the case. She was also impressed when I described how helpful you had been, the trial period, how quickly the violin had arrived and the price.

[UPDATE] Aurora's violin has been a real hit up here. She is liking her new instrument a lot, and her teacher has nothing but great things to say about it.

Her little sister Tawney is playing Aurora's old 1/4 violin, which we got used for Aurora. It has seen better days and has been having issues so we are thinking we'll get Tawney a 1/4 size VN-100 with the Dominant string upgrade.

I bought a 1/2 violin for my 8 yo, who decides to follow her sister's footstep, from Amazon, and it is so bad that I returned it and ordered one from you instead. I knew it would take a while but it was worth the wait.

We received your violin yesterday, just in time for Nicole's lesson last night. Her teacher, Monique Perkins, was soooo happy that we have a much better violin now. She said she is going to send you a note to thank you for providing quality instruments to students she referred your business to.

I agree with you a hundred percent on quality. We bought our first violin from Southwest string three years ago and even spent extra for amplifier but when we finally found our violin teacher, she said the amplifier was defective and looked like someone tried to fix it once already.

For Nicole (my 8 yo) to start violin is a big decision because being a single mom and trying to pay for their piano and violin lessons is a luxury. Also since it is a half size that we most likely won't keep it for long, but it should still beat renting it for a year.

We are very happy with the violin.

The bridge had slipped in transit, but a friend who is more familiar with violins (i.e., and orchestral violinist) helped get everything set. Thank you for your advice, and for sending it promptly. It was already used several times this weekend.

We have already mentioned your website to a few friends, and will be in contact if we need anything else. Our son has played his new violin every day since it arrived ... long may it last!

[UPDATE: 3 months later] He will be keeping the violin and bow busy during this weekend's fiddle workshop (they bring fiddlers up for workshops 3-4 times a year, and Calvin Cairns from BC is often an instructor).

We have bought a few VN-100 violins in different sizes from you and have been very happy with them.

And our teacher loved the last one so much, she bought one for her granddaughter.

I have just spent about an hour on your website and I think I'm sold!

I am the music director at the Fredericksburg Methodist Church in Fredericksburg Texas and have a fledgling music school which started as a normal church children's choir. But as an educator and former band director, I just wanted to give the kids more.

We have several former music teachers at our church and so I began the Kid's Music Academy which was a step up from a children's choir by teaching not only vocal choir music, but also adding in a theory section and an instrumental section which to this point has been using bells and choir chimes.

We had the privilege of connecting with a local Suzuki violin teacher and have decided to include strings into the mix. We want to purchase enough instruments so that our kids get a 3 or 4 week taste of playing then rotate in a new group of kids. I would like to have 4 of each size but we just can't afford it at this point. I hope this will develop into a long-term Suzuki class for some of our kids, but I just want to give all of them a taste of it.

All that to say I've been warned by Theresa that we not settle for 'cheap' instruments because they just won't last and have a terrible sound. I got a go ahead to purchase 7 violins. My plan is to use these only as an introduction to students who might wish to seriously begin learning on a better quality rented instrument from a local company.

Lisa really likes it and it sounded great at her lesson. I think she really will love it! She particularly likes the slightly brown ebony chin rest and pegs. This time she had her teacher put a couple of black stripes on for fingering instead of the variety of colours she had before because she doesn't want to ruin the way it looks.

It already has great sound - much bigger than the 1/4 VN-102.

There is an upcoming performance she has been asked to take part in - it will be great to have the new violin for it!

She also loves the earrings! Christopher is envious of Lisa's new violin.

[UPDATE: 3 years later] Lisa's ½ violin that we purchased from you has matured beautifully.

I, to this day remember going home to pick it up from our front step in below zero weather and then driving to pick Lisa up at school. Next we went directly to her private lesson where Lisa used the new instrument and it sounded amazing right from the moment it was tuned.
