Thank you so much for your information on bows, I sent it on with my Secret Santa list, and for Christmas I received a wonderfyl Voxy Vogue bow, which has already astonished me with its beautiful sound, as well as the ease of playing it provides.
I started playing violin a year ago, and bought an inexpensive bow. My teacher remarked a few months in that I would need to get a better bow as I went on, but I brushed the idea off, figuring it wouldn't make a noticeable difference.
I was amazed that after playing just a few notes with my new bow, I could feel the difference in my arm and hand, and my family noticed the change in tone immediately.
