My violinist daughter approves of my choice

Everything came in perfect shape as you predicted. They even attempted to deliver it a day earlier than the tracking said that they would.

The violin is beautiful. I'm really glad that I chose the antiqued one.

My daughter, the professional violinist in the family, came over this evening for my first lesson. She also liked it as well. She played it backwards, as she's right handed, so that I could hear how it sounds. We both liked it.

I want to thank you for the special gifts you sent. That was an very nice gesture, thank you.

Well, it was a pleasure doing business with you.

[REVIEW: Facebook, 5 stars] A short time ago, I was researching the internet for the availability of a left-handed violin. No one who I asked locally could do more than advise me to learn right-handed! Discouraged by their responses, I began to doubt whether or not they even made such a oddity.

Having played left-handed, 12 string guitar for many years, it was pretty-much a given that I would not be changing my hand orientation any time soon.

As I began to search through the internet for a violin that not only was played left-handed but also was made left-handed from the inside out, I happened across the Fiddleheads Violin Studio located in Canada. After discussing my dilemma with the studio's owner, Rhiannon Nachbaur, I was elated to hear that she not only understood my plight, but also kept left-handed violins around for just such a purpose.

She afforded me as much time as I required to discuss my options with the various models of quality violins that she at her studio. She was pleasant, informative, understanding and patient with me as I made several calls to discuss my decision. I ended up purchasing her Sun VN 102 violin 4/4, special antiqued edition.

She arranged special shipping and insurance for the instrument as I was fearful that regular shipping might be an issue. As I opened the shipping box, it was clear that Rhiannon has advised me correctly.

It was a beautiful made violin with superb tone. I could not thank her enough for her efforts and wished me well for my new challenge.

It's a long story, however, the bottom line is that I needed someone who could understand what I needed and would be able to deliver it with grace and sensitivity.

Thank you, Rhiannon.
