Got the bow. Think I play a bit better. Like the feel. [It's] a step up from the $49 bow that I initially bought.
I played classical violin when I was in junior high and then started again at 64... I have not been consistent in my playing, and am now making my 3rd or 4th attempt at consistent playing.
The Vogue bow arrived safely. It plays very well & gives me way more control. It has given me way better tone.
It has also stopped a bit of unwanted bounce. I find I can hold longer bows.
I'm 72 and just started violin lessons a month ago. The Canada Post lady just dropped off the package (the package arrived in 2 days in perfect condition) with my new Voxy Vogue bow and the Goldflex Rosin.
WOW!! I LOVE the bow...WOW! it's so much better than the cheap bows that came with my student package from Amazon.

The Voxy Vogue bow is wonderful -- well balanced and nicely weighted.
My Sonata bow is a very light bow made by Arcus. They have a big reputation but the bow doesn't suit me.
I bought a Vogue bow from you a few years ago and let me tell you that it's still my preferred bow to play in the orchestra.
Thank you so much for your information on bows, I sent it on with my Secret Santa list, and for Christmas I received a wonderfyl Voxy Vogue bow, which has already astonished me with its beautiful sound, as well as the ease of playing it provides.
I started playing violin a year ago, and bought an inexpensive bow. My teacher remarked a few months in that I would need to get a better bow as I went on, but I brushed the idea off, figuring it wouldn't make a noticeable difference.
I was amazed that after playing just a few notes with my new bow, I could feel the difference in my arm and hand, and my family noticed the change in tone immediately.
