Unique handmade violin with label "C.L. Stone 1912."

Distinctive and creatively-carved three-piece top! (See photos; note these are not cracks, but seams).

One piece back.

Another unique feature: all eight rib corners (front and back) are skillfully beveled, creating a striking effect.

The body is slightly smaller than typical 3/4 which makes for a more muted, mellow tone.

There is one small and very well repaired saddle crack to the right of the tailpiece.

Newer fittings, wood bow and shaped canvas cas e included.

A very unique interesting and piece for a young player or small adult which will stand out from the crowd of typical 3/4 violins.
