"Joseph Kriner" Violin

Size: 4/4

Condition: Used

We are lucky to have this violin back on a trade.

Label reads "Joseph Kriner, Geigenmacher in Mittenwald an der Ifer 1793." Certainly this is a copy as the condition is too good to be this old (and the wood inside is not stained with age).

1-piece back.

Darker, velvety tone with nice low end. Very even across all four strings with excellent overtones.

All new fittings, including new unique inlayed flower tailpiece, ebony chinrest and pegs and bridge/soundpost/Dominant strings.

Narrow neck and fingerboard suitable for small hands.

Setup and ready to play: looks like new with very nice ebony fittings (inlay tailpiece).

$1790 USD

SALE $1590 USD
