The lovely instrument was made in a small workshop in Bulgaria's Kazanlak region and finished by fine maker Ivan Kocheff. The violin is carved of select well-seasoned European spruce and Balkan maple. The vibrantly shaded one-piece, flamed back is stunning. It is finished with a matte premium-quality Italian spirit varnish. The finish features skillful antiquing by Kocheff himself and a magnificent amber-redish color of great transparency. The sound of this instrument is rich and powerful with beautiful nuances and ringing overtones that render the tonal characteristics of a mature Italian violin. The instrument is suitable for advanced students or adults seeking a substantial upgrade to their instrument. The violin is equipped with fine, European hand-carved & decorative rosewood fittings, Vision Titanium perlon-core strings, and a deluxe German-made maple bridge. Other instruments can be located and brought in upon request. Therefore we regret that we cannot ensure the authenticity of used instruments unless they come with a certificate. All instruments are sold as-is. An exception is with instruments with repaired cracks which open up, in which case we would have it repaired for you.
